Safety Skidding
When you lose control of your brakes and your wheels lock, most probably your vehicle will skid and if the skid size is wide you will most likely met an accident, unless your vehicle have anti-skid system or have anti-skid design.

Do you remember at the times when the wheels of your car skid and you suddenly panic in fear you might get a car accident along the way? Most probably, car skidding is one of the causes of car accidents along the way wherein the driver suddenly loses control utterly. But how can you avoid such accidents and end up your wrecked car being loaded out by a skid loader and you being rush into the hospital?
Most often car skidding accident is brought by either two causes: too fast driving and the weather (winter or heavy rains that causes slippery roads). Too fast driving can be a result of too much use of brakes causing the car wheels to lock up thus causing skidding, and over steering or that is when the driver turns too sharply which turns the back wheels to swing quickly around behind the front wheels thus causing skidding. Some car drivers nowadays take adventure to run or drive their cars too fast because they rely on the anti-skid system their cars have. Thus, though they drive too fast they will not have worries about skidding because their car have anti-skid system engine. An anti skid system in a vehicle is alternatively known as the Anti-lock braking system or ABS wherein it prevents the wheels from locking up when breaking heavily or suddenly or sharply. Thus minimizing or preventing skidding when breaking sharply. For without an anti-skid system, the wheels locked up when the driver breaks sharply or heavily thus resulting into skidding effects which leads to car accident.
If your car or vehicle has no anti-skid system and is likely prone to skidding you better check your car or vehicle for a skid test near you. I know in US there is a testing area out there which uses locked wheeled skid tester and other testing materials for your vehicles or cars. You can check for it in your nearest car centers or can Google it on the web for broader scope and informations about it.

Here are some tips to prevent skidding that will end up into car accident.
- Slow Down. There is no harm in slowing down but there is much harm if you drive fast. Even though your car or vehicles have an anti skid design or have anti-skid system, you should utterly rely on it and drive recklessly. The anti-skid design of your car or vehicle will not the one who will save you from skidding into car accident, rather it is still depends on you driving speed.
- Since skidding is also cause by weather especially during winter times where all roads are too very wet and full of snows, though your car has anti skid system, there is still chances of skidding due to very slippery road. When you are driving on an ice filled road or snow filled road you will notice that your tire has no sound or is very quiet, this is an indication you are driving in a snow filled road area in case you would not notice along the way while you driving in a particular road. Thus, if this is so, be careful and slow down while driving along this snow filled area of the road.
